Southern Connecticut Polymer Clay Guild has a page of helpful
information for anyone wishing to make and distribute Bottles of Hope.
Obtaining glass medication bottles to recycle as Bottles of Hope is
getting more difficult as non-toxic materials are increasingly frequently
delivered in plastic vials, but insulin bottles are a convenient size, and inexpensive bottles may be purchased
from E.D. Luce and American
Science and Surplus.
of Hope are small glass bottles decorated with polymer clay. The
idea was the brainchild of Diane
Gregoire, a cancer survivor and polymer clay artist who found
a way to use her art to cheer up the lives of cancer patients going
through the ordeal of chemotherapy.
